usbTMFserver 2.9beta2

Post by lille79 » 24 Apr 2011 17:44

Hi! I'm back.... sort of....

Not been too motivated last few months, but now I've made a beta-release of a new usbTMFserver. It's not revolutionary of any kind, but it's based on a smaller version of the MOWES-webserver and most other stuff is updated, that is the TMFserver, the Xaseco, and the widgets. The widgets setup (plugin itself is unchanged) have been altered a bit in my release if you compare to undef.de's original release, but this is a beta, so any feedback is appreciated.

Contents:
- Dedicated Server for TMF (2011-02-21)
- MoWeS Portable II webserver (with php 5.3.5)
- Xaseco v1.13 Thanks to Xymph
- Records-Eyepiece 0.9.7 Thanks to undef.de
- Fufi-menu for Xaseco Thanks to f*ckfish (updated by Xymph)
(optional Fufi-AutoQueue, updated by Schmidi)
- RemoteCP-4.0.3.6 open beta2, thanks to hal|Sascha

Download link can be found at http://lille79.supersheep.no

edit: If and when a next release of xaseco comes out I'll release an update with that, and might put in a few more plugins that are commonly used :)
edit2: updated with Xaseco 1.13 already

No, I haven't included any stats yet. It's thought of as a beta-release, and I haven't taken a look at the latest versions of the stats, so therefore I didn't want to include an old version. The one included in the 2.8-version works without problem here on my computer, so a newer version should work fine when I get around to fiddle with it. If someone wants to test or setup I'm happy to get help ;). One can just use the old config-files (from usbTMFserver 2.8) to find what settings should be used.

I don't know anything about servers in TM2, but I'll probably try to make something if it's something similar to the TM-servers we see today. I've been testing abit with ManiaLive with this latest usbTMFserver-release, so anythings possible I guess ;)

...and now I've updated the release with the updated rasp.funcs.php mentioned in this post.

Would also be nice to know if anyone has tested and found that everythings working, or if there are any errors to sort out :)

I found that logged in as Master Admin.
Fufi Menu can't be see while global blacklist merge is enabled in

C:\usbTMFserver_v2.9beta2\TMF\control\xaseco_2\includes\rasp.settings

Line....
//Set to true to perform global blacklist merge at MasterAdmin connect
$globalbl_merge = true;

When I login as a player that is not a admin or master admin I can see Fufi Menu, while the blacklist merge is enabled.
If I disable blacklist merge, the Fufi Menu as always visible. As player, Admin , or Master Admin.
All else seems to work perfect with the usbTMFserver 2.9beta2
Thanks, DJ

This is not a Fufi menu/widgets problem but a global blacklist one. See here for the solution.

Thank you Xymph, I missed the line
//Set to global blacklist in XML format, same as <blacklist_url> in dedicated_cfg.txt (TMF)
in rasp settings
Fixed now.. Thanks
( I will make eye appointment soon)
