Nice, but I thought dedimania and tmx records were the same thing (tmx gets data from dedimania)?
Regards,
Nick.
No tmx records and dedimania records are not the same. TrackMania Exchange records requires that you upload an replay of the record (thus mentioned as offline world records) , while Dedimania is an online record system (and is called online world records). Recently those online (dedimania) has made it to the TrackMania Exchange pages, which is a great addition. But seems to have broken as it is not fecthing the records, all it says is "Connecting to Dedimania, please wait ..." Hope it will return soon

Hopes this makes sense
Regards

Version 0.62 is out.
Biggest news: there's now a Dedimania widget for XASECO users.
For all release notes and the download link see the first post =)

Hi FF,
Am I right in thinking I can't position the DediMania widget on the left of the screen as the little green arrow (that points to the current player's position) will be off the edge of the screen?
If I am right, can this be fixed? There is a lot of space over there and it would be nice to use it
TIA,
Nick.

Well, it can be achieved by playing around with the values in config.xml. Try something like
Code: Select all
<x>-63.5</x>
<y>20</y> (or 15 if you want to align it in the same vertical position like the local records widget)
<width>16</width>
<entrycount>11</entrycount>
<topcount>3</topcount> <!--shows the top X players inside the widget-->

Hi FF,
I see what you mean, but it's kind of not at the edge of the screen because of the gap you need for the arrow.
I meant is there a way to have the arrow on the right hand side if the widget is on the left.
Regards,
Nick.

I already thought about that, but I didn't find a style/substyle that realizes the icon for that arrow.

I made a version
0.62b to provide you with a working and "good looking" default config for the widgets (including Dedimania widget, which was just an ugly copy-and-paste config in 0.62). I highly recommend to upgrade since I changed some other stuff, too.
What, you want a screenshot? okay, here you are
