TM Radio??

Hi all,

I Was thinking that i recon there should be at something called TM Radio I came up of how it works it will be little like a radio station but no ads and no speakers (People) cause if we had that it would bit of trouble anyway if anyone made something to go with the servers such as plugin or anything and TM Radio will play the music for you and if so players can add there music to it aswell

It kinda Does sound stupid but just a suggestion

The effort involved in adding this as a plugin for other systems would go beyond the normal complexity of plugins. Radio streams are continuously downloading until the broadcast ceases so I don't believe .ogg would understand that as this file size is technically infinite because as the broadcast continues the file size just increases.

It would be good to have this as an alternative to the musicserver plugin on xaseco but at the time being I think it would cause more trouble than it would be worth.

There is no complexity in the dedicated script plugin.

The real problem is elsewhere : getting the radio streamed in separated .ogg, and using a server with enough bandwidth to share if to players.


And btw, i never understood the interest in putting custom musics in TM servers. My game music level is 0 from the beginning, and i listen my own music/radio as i want but not with the game...
