the 1st one is about the sound engine.
When your entel an enclosed area (like a tunnel), the sound engine will add reverberation (echo) to the sounds.

the 2nd one is about your avatar in multiplayer.
there is a way to have 3 avatar that are triggered by smileys in the chat.
You have the normal avatar that shows up when you connect, when you chat normally, there is the "happy" avatar which is shown when you type a ":)" smiley in the chat or when you improve your time, and there is the sad smiley which is shown when you type a ":(" smiley in the chat.
It's not a feature available in the menues, i don't know exactly how to do it but i've seen other people testing it in beta 1&2.

the 3rd one is about the replay editor, where you can create your blocks anywhere in the timeline, you're not stuck to the camera track vs text tracks vs shake effect track etc...

Thanks for elaborating, I was really curious was this was all about, never heard of it before.
At least now I know what it does... now I'm just curious how to do it. :)
Anyone?

the avatars can now either be:

* a single image, as always.
* or, a zip file containing variants of the avatar.

the maximum size for an avatar is 50Ko.

the zip file can contain 3 images:

* normal -> default image used most of the time.
* happy -> used when the player "wins", or when the chat contains one of the following smileys:
:) :-) ;-) ;) :D :-D ^_^ ^^ ^o^
* sad -> used when the player "loses", or when the chat contains one of the following smileys:
:( :-( :'( >_<

Cool, thanks for the info! :)
I'll try and make a ZIP with: normal.dds (or BIK I suppose), happy.dds, and sad.dds then.

Edit:
Yay, that worked.
I don't have anything installed on my new system yet, so I just used IrfanView to colour my avatar blue-ish and green-ish for sad and happy respectively.
Then I used the game to import the files one by one, like you normally would, which made them DDS.
No need for graphics programs when you have TMUF! :)
I then packed all three in the ZIP which I just called "Retodon8.zip", put it in the right folder in my Windows profile, and done.
Actually I had to quite the game, restart it, before I could choose it.

? :P
  • addition of cyclic intensity boosters (100% to 200% oscilation) on all environments. All blocks of this type that you place on a map will be syncronized to the same cycle.

but they are added to all environments, you know.. they wern't there befor, not in stadium, or not in whatever other environment you think of TMO...

it's soemthing that's introduced in tmuf and it's for all environments at once ..I think you confused them with the red boosters that were added to tmsx.

Loading bar between maps with "Press any key to continue", which is really annoying btw.
Auto display of score rankings, after each round (at least in round mode), which is also a bit annoying.

Both solo and online, just above your speed, you can see your distance driven on the track i 'm' (meters i guess) on that round.

Thought that you now might me able to see your average speed on the track, or somewhere else a totalt distance driven in TM, and more.

Solo mode changes:
  • TMUF: Tracks download form manialinks are now saved to Tracks\Challenges\Downloaded\Manialinks\<game type>\<enviro>\<autor>\
:3

I think that would be also usefull to make list f changes between TMnf vs TMnf with TMuf acc.
=>I think that many people considering to buy TMuf acc and such list would be very usefull. I would do it on you own but i think that my english isnt good enough to do that properly anyway i could help with ideas

Mediatracker:
- An outo-move-to-top feature has been added for annoyance. (is it possible to turn this off?)
- You can no longer copy and paste mt blocks for further annoyance.

I guess nadeo decided to add some annoyance to the expert track-editor, to punish the people that do care about good mt
I think I made my point, please sort it nadeo

I don't know if I did well, but I put the change log we quickly made at alpha start. It is incomplete (I think it represents 50% of job done) but it could provide some information to the community.
