Ok,.. nothing about "bugs", but if you go full risk, then the chance you do a mistake is MORE likely than on other maps, in this compo you need to do that,...
No you don't, you need to find the right balance for risk and consistency so that you gain the most points in the end. (what's better, 4x 1st and 3x 4th (crashes) or 5x 2nd and 2x 1st? :P) Better players will make less mistakes and therefore they will be able to take more risk and go faster, and then they will win :)

with current point system 1st place is always better than 2-4...

the game has become more about avoiding bugs than actual racing. and i don't like it, but i accept it.

enf: yeah maybe, but it would be nice if someone from ESWC could confirm that it's not allowed, because right now, everyone is training the map doing the cut.

Frost, I'll definitely agree with you there. This game is so full of bugs it's ridiculous, but I don't see what that has to do with this discussion :P.

Enf: So..are you saying you would take a couple of 1st places plus a few last places equaling less points over consistent 2nd places that equals more points? I'd love to race with you in a money competition if you keep that attitude. Seriously.. read zooz's post again. It doesn't get any clearer than that.
