bah, in TNA we ask some big players to help admins choose the best maps... We test the maps for 5minutes and we decide if we keep it or not. We keep doing this several times until the best maps are left...
That's the best option imo..

Don't hate the l33t!

Amazing
!
I've tried the maps during many hours
. None of my 8 prefered maps are in the 15 maps having more votes
!
In the 12 maps winning for the moment :
- 3 maps are quite good for me
- 3 maps are not too bad
- 4 maps : I don't like
- 2 maps : I hate !
... and my 8 prefered ones aren't in those 12 winning maps ! Even said, I know
!
Have I sh** taste or what
?! I don't think so
...

Or ask 8 mappers to make the 8 maps of the pack
(and then, ask the top players which maps of this first pack they don't like, and change 2-3 mappers for the next pack)

I think this is not fair...I think that the best option would be...make server with all maps...and use aceco(fast) track voting...it guarantees that the voter will see what track is he voting forkirz wrote:Or ask 8 mappers to make the 8 maps of the pack

Last years in ESWC weren't good tracks in opinion of many players... usuall they were hard, and nobody could race WR (almost) times so stable, though many players train maps for some weeks (maybe months). And this is right way IMO. Hard maps without love from players

That's how its supposed to be, if they can drive WR times consistently it's no different than a time attack. There should be some challenge in actually making it to the finish without crashing, even after a month of training.ToniCZ wrote:Last years in ESWC weren't good tracks in opinion of many players... usuall they were hard, and nobody could race WR (almost) times so stable, though many players train maps for some weeks (maybe months). Re: VOTE NOW for your eight best tracks for April/May
Oh so we should choose lolmaps that require luck to finish?
No thx.
If a player trains a month and can drive his times consistently, then its fine because he trained to be able to do it. There will always be a difference in skill evident even on easy maps. Ask any of the top players, and they will agree. Even a FS map with 6 turns will have the better player winning, even if its by a smaller margin.
Having luck parts with bugs goes against the competition, in introducing the element of luck required to win, instead of skill.
So in summary, no thx.

Re: VOTE NOW for your eight best tracks for April/May
but tbh,.... those maps with 20+ votes are quite ok, so it will be a nice mappool
Re: VOTE NOW for your eight best tracks for April/May
Ugf some of the maps to be chosen (loco crap 2 and 3) realy should not be in there. If only i could vote -1 on those tracks, im sure it would have a negative number of votes by now..
Re: VOTE NOW for your eight best tracks for April/May
hihi love those tracks

Re: VOTE NOW for your eight best tracks for April/May
When i play some off the tracks i actually feel good about myself, feeling like a pro cause, damn so many shitty tracks.
