Shoutbox Help

Post by budperson » 12 Sep 2010 01:50

Can someone help me set up shoutbox for a mania link that i am making, that i can embed into my manialink?

I have all the tools one might need to do so, a domain, mysql database, phpmyadmin, and an ftp client. Could someone please make a step by step tutorial on how to make this shoutbox? If someone helps, i will mention you in the manialink.

I was check out the onyx shoutbox, at viewtopic.php?f=129&t=19279.

I am generally great with computers, but this sql/php stuff is new to me.

Whoever can help me will get 1000 coppers! Anything for a shoutbox.

Thanks in advance, budperson.

Don't bump. You cannot expect a reply (to a post in the wrong forum at that) within an hour in the middle of the night.

Glad you found out how ...I personally would just use the Onyx one ...fiddle with the settings and use PHP include to pull it into the page.

A tut would be great for others ...if i see you post one i'll sticky
