I found a bug:

In time attack mode, when I respawn from a checkpoint and then I istantly restart (on keyboard Enter->Backspace) TrackMania.PlayerFinish callback with "score" = 0 isn't called.

That has nothing to do with this dedicated release. It's a general problem when using RCP in combination with XAseco that was reported long ago... cause unknown.

Yeah, that is a long-standing problem with the dedicated (I mailed xbx about it early this year), not just with this build.

Hi,

Regarding the patch for the game - would this be dished out to those of us who downloaded the game from Steam, or would we have to apply the patch manually?

TIA

Until now all game fixes have to be applied manually.

Btw perhaps that the "StarTrack update" will be a real patch available on the launcher update button and on steam ? who knows.... ;)

can you be a bit more specific: what version of the server were you previously using, and which standard nadeo tracks in particular?

This is a new server, has no history of other versions, but most of my other servers run on TrackmaniaServer_2009-08-01
No gamefix installed locally, they mess up my video :D

xbx, thanks for incrementing the client version to 2.11.25 in the official release. Is the dedicated server going to get a corresponding update (if only to make that sneaky config entry official  )?

That's the known problem on multilap tracks, already discussed earlier in this thread.

thanks for the info.

Ah..
So I guess the changed behaviour is more related to the new "hardware" rather than to the new version.
(I think it's related to the order of reception and time of processing of the network packets)
No gamefix installed locally, they mess up my video :D
since the very first version? and do the latest one also have those problems?

Unfortunately, version wise, it's still kind of a mess:
- There's a DVD release of the update called "StarEdition", with version number 2.11.24 that contains the campaign but the old fix "2009-04-08", because at the time to make the master, we weren't confident enough to include the new untested fix.
- And there's the update (and also the buy and download version, and the steam version/metaboli version once they've updated), with version number 2.11.25, that contains the campaign and the new fix 2009-11-19...

(And, sorry, I'm not planning to update the dedicated again in a short while.)

hehe.. I hide it at first because I was really hoping my other change would fix the issue, and I wanted people to test.. ;)

No sorry... All on one physical machine ;)

Hmmm, ok i will try XBX. I will let you know in this topic if it succeeds or not.

Hi,
I have a problem with "time incoherence."
We have already talked about it.
But I wanted to ask if you are out soon whether a new version.
It's really stupid. As Master Admin banned (Time incoherence)

Or help me <disable_coherence_checks>
What are my cons when I turn on?
It is a time attack servers. Do I need this value on laps or True?

Version: 2.11.23 (19.11.2009 new installation. No update.)

Thanks for your help (sry for my english)

Nah, that is for a very specific reason, which was discussed in this thread, and a solution was also posted. On the first page no less.
