Dedicated server for TMF, version 2008-07-25

Post by xbx » 25 Jul 2008 17:27

You can download it from
http://files2.trackmaniaforever.com/Tra ... -07-25.zip
or
http://files2.trackmaniaforever.com/Tra ... -07-25.tgz

(both contain the same files, and windows and linux executable.)

Changes:
(I tried to do the minimum changes to avoid having to do betas again...)
  • fixed "adding a track on one path, then removing and re-adding it on another makes the server unable to load it."
  • fixed the tunnel bandwidth control (the tunnel got stalled after a few packets..)
  • a little referee mode fix
Easy question, whats the limit for sending tunneldata?
server<->client: 1 packet of maximum 4ko every 5seconds.
server<->server: 8 packets of maximum 256ko per second.
(those values are smoothed over a period of time, those are averrage values.)

Yes, same executable size but far from the same file. Just do a binary compare, e.g. 'cmp -l' on Linux. :wink:
