i'm using the dedicated_cfg.txt with my dates...
but there is still the same error
sorry for my bad english

Make sure your configuration file is NOT in the root of the server. That is NOT where it belongs. That was my issue.

The server is running but does not show up in tmuforever. And yes ports are forwarded. I used the same masterserver account and password as our United server and shut that one down. Any Ideas?
EDIT,----------------------------------->
It just needed time. It took about 30 minutes.
It works fine, and Assembler and Flo's Aseco works too.

I dont have it there! I tried it 10 times:
-I unpacked the rarfile in a random folder.
-I opened dedicated_cgf.txt and filled in the various tags.
-I tried opening TrackmaniaServer.exe.
- Got the same error as Robi!!

You can't just run the executable, you need to supply several options, so it's easier to create a .bat file with all those. See my next post.

Quick Start Guide
For those having various vague problems in getting a server operational, I've converted the
Quick Start Guide that I wrote for TMN towards the new TMF server (but still my old Aseco). It's geared towards Linux but contains some Windows bits as well, and I'll be happy to update it with additional tips that admins on Windows can provide. If your server doesn't work yet, try following this guide step-by-step and let me know if something doesn't work for you. Or that it
does work, that would be nice to know as well.
