That's a TrackMania Transfer Protocol link you can send to someone else, and if they enabled tmtp handling while installing the game, clicking on it should allow them to join your server in one go. There are other tmtp types too, e.g. the replay in solo mode you can send to a friend to challenge him/her.

I have still the problem with the guestlist. Even if a member is on the guestlist, he can't join the server without the valid password.

I wrote a little php-script to connect remote to my server and to query the guestlist with the GetGuestList methode and it brings back 42 entries.

Pls help!

It works to a reasonable degree, but any command that should produce a popup (/list, /recs, etc) won't work due to the lack of ManiaLinks support. See here.

You already posted about that in another thread. See here for an analysis of the problem. This will require a client patch by Nadeo to address, so I'm afraid it will take some time.

Here's the sequence of events as I've seen them occur:

- Admin removes track 123456.challenge.gbx, saves new matchsettings file, it's gone and forgotten.
- Admin then goes and downloads same challenge, with the same filename, but has different UID in it because it's a diff version.
- Admin adds track to the challenge list, saves matchsettings file. Everything looks fine, track shows up in challenge list.
- When that track comes up in the rotation, the server fails to load it, and will keep on failing every time it tries until server is shut down and restarted.
- Nothing can be done with that track until the server has been restarted.

Does that about cover it?

Fixed a long time ago for TMU Dedicated server, so it should still be fixed for TMF dedicated too.

I got not error, but the server isn't reachable.

I've opened all port in the firewall, i have even disabled it to be sure..

Guys..... Can you help with a basic problem?

For some reason, I am not quite understanding the properties for the shortcut on my dedicated server


TrackManiaServer.exe /internet /dedicated_cfg=dedicated_cfg.txt /game_settings=MatchSettings/StadiumBlue.txt
But when i add it to the "TARGET" for my shortcut -
"C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\Desktop\TrackmaniaServer_2008-04-16\TrackmaniaServer.exe"
So it looks like this in total:

"C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\Desktop\TrackmaniaServer_2008-04-16\TrackManiaServer.exe /internet /dedicated_cfg=dedicated_cfg.txt /game_settings=MatchSettings/StadiumBlue.txt"
Windows doesnt accept the above,....

Sorry....what have i done wrong here??

In FreeBSD you must use the brandelf utility to add the ELF type headers to the executable before it will start -

, and you must have Linux compatibility switched on in the Kernel. If you didn't do that at install time Google should give some easy answers on how to do that.

You are quoting the whole syntax.. you only have to quote the path.

So it looks like this :
"C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\Desktop\TrackmaniaServer_2008-04-16\TrackManiaServer.exe" /internet /dedicated_cfg=dedicated_cfg.txt /game_settings=MatchSettings/StadiumBlue.txt

I already made it (else server not running).
I gor error on normal start. Maybe that program bug, because old server (TMN) working normally.
