How to remove 4gb limit when recording video

Post by william b » 10 Feb 2011 09:45

Hiya Guys

Anyone have a workaround for making replays bigger than 4gb in size?

I have some maps that are 2 mins long and i cant record a decent video without going over the 4gb limit.

Help

Im using NTFS.
Windows 10
All bells and whistles on my computer :)

Just want to be able to record 60fps without 4gb limit coming into play.

Thanks

Don't use uncompressed frames. I recommend the x264vfw codec, it offers good quality and much smaller file sizes. http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/ Install, restart TM and you should be good to go. Here's my settings for the codec https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/588 ... 164819.png.
Hope that helps.
