HELP ME!

I downloaded TM Nations and I tried solo play and I really liked it. Than I wanted to try multiplayer but the game says I am not connected to the Internet... SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! :(

Connect to the Internet - I guess you did that, so configure firewall.

Check that internet explorer is able to display webpages. (If its in offline mode the game it will display that message)

Thanks but I am connected to the Internet all the time, IE and Firefox are working great....... I can't figure it out... ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA WHAT'S WRONG?

Probably its being blocked by firewall software, like Baboy said.

I think I know what the problem is... My Internet provider set my security level to maximum, so no p2p program is working on my PC,.. I'll tell them to fix that...

Your computer is your responsibility, not your ISP's.

......OK... look my internet provider has FIREWALL at his POSTS and HE is the one that CONTROLS THAT FIREWALL!!! So I can't do anything about it....(tomorro I'll send them a letter and ask them to change my security level..) Thanks for your replys :D (don't hate me 'cause I'm beautyful :P)

using cable* connection?

I'm guessing you're accessing the internet at work or school or something then, in which case a request to have ports openned up might fall on deaf ears. Certainly University networks were chocked by P2P and many closed it off going way back, no harm in asking though ...

Well this is how it is: I live in the central Europe.... and no, i have Internet at home.... My internet provider is a normal provider of this service.... I have VDSL connection.... I ordered them to filter and prevent me from using p2p networks BY A MISTAKE.... I am oing to fix it soon.. very son... hopefuly....
One question: Is TM Nations using p2p network because it needs to send skins before the race starts?

I have a problem with my login at http://www.trackmanianations.com!!!

If I try to login there is alwys error!

I asked the webmaster but he couldn´t help me.

ok, that makes more sense!

p2p is used in TMN for skins and car models (but I don't think for tracks ... could be wrong though). It'll probably be even more essential in TMU so getting sorted now is a good move ;) Good luck!
