I've done a way better Solution for TMS!!!
Follow these Steps and you will have success!WHY THIS SOLUTION IS BETTER?>>>
Because you can play the default
TMS-Version that you have! I can play my old 1.4.6 without any Update! Only reboot windows when i say it!1.
Install your TMS from the CD...2.
Download and install the TMSExtreme Addon.
Download and install the 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 Update
Download and Install the Starforce update as adminstrator
After you have installed the driver-update launch TmSunrise.exe... It will ask you to install driverstuff... Do it!
Now reboot your system!---5.5.---
If your CD-check succeed after launching "TmSunrise.exe" and no more driver incompatibility is shown, go on with step 7!6.
Download and overwrite your Gamedata with the files in the package
Then launch the Game (TmSunrise.exe), it will ask you again to install some driver-stuff... Do it again...
Then reboot your System!Information!
If it doesn't work yet, don't worry! I get at this point always a "transparent" screen in 640x480 without mouse... Thats normal!7.
Delete the TrackMania Sunrise folder but don't uninstall the game!
Just delete all Data...8.
Now Install the default TMS onto your Computer.Configuration:
To configure the Game, start the launcher! It will do kind of benchmark but just ignore this and press ok everytime... Then you have the launcher to configure your game!Playing TMS:
You have to start TMS directly! (TmSunrise.exe) But then it will work as usually... If you click on "Play" in the launcher, nothing will happen...IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Don't Install the Extreme-addon!!! Don't do it! It will destroy your TmSunrise...
The update brought to you a better diskcheck but will make your TMS unplayable...
We have done the Patch only for the Starforce driver! NOT FOR TM!
So don't update to 1.5.0!Help and Support
If it won't work proper:
1. try the guide again...
2. try the original guide and go on with step 7
from my guide!
If everything fails! Your Windows is the problem and there is no solve for you... (Instead of reinstalling Windows but i don't think that anybody would do that)
Or go and install on a seperate partition Windows XP just for games that dont work at all with the newer games... (TRACKMANIA 1.0 The red cover)Are there any Bugs?
Currently i think no... I didnt get any sound or music bugs or something other...
Everything works fine!
