TM Sunrise working on Windows 7 x64!!

I have the same white screen not responding issue. It happens at the stage where foxn says it configures the network connection.

I have a wired router and I wonder if this is causing communication issues as it has happened to me with some games in the past. I don't have any work around to suggest but maybe this will inspire someone to have an idea.............?

Edit: Crikey it took eight days for this post to be approved by moderators meanwhile I am unable to play whilst waiting. Any reply will probably take as long. NOT GOOD, PEOPLE :shock:

Many thanks to OP. My kids got TMS for Christmas, and this process worked perfectly for getting it working on their Win 7 machine.

I followed those instructions but unfortunatley it seems they don't work on Windows 8 and I get the following error when running TmSunrise.exe with admin right after completing all previous steps:

Any ideas?

The only guy I know who has Windows 8 is Calinstelistu, so I think he could help you.

Hello,

i followed the Guide, but it wont work full for me. It always says he cant find my video performance. The Problem with the Starforce driver got solved by the Files on page one.
But everytime i star the game, it opens a window with white screen.
In the taskmanager there is a process with TMSunrise.exe 13%CPU and 40MB Ram, but nothing happens.
I have:
Win 7 64x
intel i7-870 (2,93 GHz Quadcore)
Nvidea Geforce 560Ti
6GB Ram

Would be nice if someone can help me, still want to play this game after years

Edit: I have this Version of the Game(Add-On Extreme included and Version 1.151):

I don't know what could be the problem but I heard before that "white screen" pops out when there is some problem or a glich...Hope some of the other guys can help you.

The game start, also when i start it by using the launcher, but it opens only a white window and than nothing happens

By the way, i tried all compatibility modes, but it didn't worked.

Unfortunately they do not update a good (old) game like this
