Try the Trackmania-Carpark (add www and .com).

3D vehicle modellers can make their cars made entirely of glass by making very simple changes to their existing models. It's as simple as changing a "D" or an "S" to a "G" instead. It's not difficult.

All glass vehicles have been around for years now. There ARE NO GHOST VEHICLES. They're all glass, every single one of them.

The ghost timed car fades in and out, but is not transparent...glass cars are transparent, but never fade. There's a difference.

...ghosts aren't real... :roflol:

Searching on their forum might've helped you with "whatever" too.

http://www.trackmania-carpark.com/forum ... =3&t=10894

I already said taking a few minutes changing 3DS models into glass is easy, it takes minutes at most. But frankly as it ruins the whole point of the several hundred (more like thousand) hours it took to create and texture each 3D model in the first place, I can't see any 3D modeller wasting their valuable time on the task.

Or "build a Time Machine out of a DeLorean?", get up to 88mph, go back several hundred years, and ask Mr. Da Vinci if he could paint the Mona Lisa, but using only layers of transparent paint/varnish.

The 3D Stadium models are freely available (Carpark FORUM search), 3D software is free too (www search Blender 2.49). It then takes minutes to change. If anyone is determined to ruin a modellers hard work and time.

"...you painting that transparent picture yet Mr. Da Vinci? On the back? You don't say!" :sweet:

Change all part names prefixed (d)etails and (s)kin to (g)lass instead.

Example : dFLWheel > gFLWheel

Don't be lazy, give it a try. You could learn something new, and can all call yourselves "ghost car" 3D modelers if you succeed. :ftw:

Job done.
