Are custom 2D skins visible to others in game?
My boyfriend and I play TM together and have noticed that on his screen you cannot see my custom paint job, instead my car is painted with my nations flag.
On my screen, you can see his custom paint job in certain servers, but in others, his car appears grey. Am I correct in thinking that some servers allow you to show custom paint jobs, where as others are set by the host not to?
Also, does my car appear in my home nation colours instead of my custom paint job as I do not own the game so it wont display it. My boyfriend does own the game which is why in some servers I can see his custom paint jobs?

TM Nations (Forever) does not send out any custom content. This can be a 3D vehicle change, a painted 2D skin, a funny horn, animated avatar, or presents for Santa...it just won't send them. However, it can receive custom content from players using a registered TM United (Forever) account. As TMUF has no such limits it can send all custom content to everyone.

Car shows to other players as a Stadium (and that's the the only environment of the 7 you have), and it's got your own country design = you're likely using TMNF.

Cars shows as a default environment type, but appears as grey to other players = you're using a registered TM United account. Either your router ports and firewall aren't configured, or the custom content you are using hasn't arrived to be seen by other players (host the custom content remotely with a LOCator to cut this delay time down).

Just backing up Gordings words in saying its a no-go..
I know there are numerous utube vids claiming otherwise etc (it's been asked many times over and over) but it's not gonna happen unless ya go United.

Only TM United Forever has the inners to make this work.

Well i have this trouble... I play on TDO dirt short track's.. and i have a buggati veyron and it don't come up as it, it comes up as an ordinary British F1 car? so if enyone know's the selution please answer!!
