Mistral ASECO v8.1 - Optimizations

Whats new:
----------------------------------------- v8.1 -----------------------------------------------
- faster rank calculation on trackchange
- faster wins calculation on trackchange
- ranks are back in message when player joins
- rs_rank table changed (auto)
- rs_rank_<env> tables obsolete now (you can drop them manually)
- new setting for better average calculation in rasp_settings.php:
// Remove ONE comment if you run a single environment server (f.e. TMNF)
//$singleenv = "Stadium";
//$singleenv = "Island";
//$singleenv = "Bay";
//$singleenv = "Coast";
//$singleenv = "Speed";
//$singleenv = "Rally";
//$singleenv = "Alpine";
- only top5 of a team are used for teamranking (finaly, should have worked before ^^)
- maybe dublicate joins fixed *hope*
- overall average is now just based on the 7 environments averages (sum/7)

Modified files:
rasp_settings.php (see above)
plugin.rasp.php
mistral.teamranking.php
mistral.main.php
mistral.joinleave.php

hi, mistral;

i believe it's not the first time you would get asked this question: but is there a way to implement the rasp 2.x.x checkpoints-plugin (plugin.rasp_cptimes.php), which displays the relation of your driven cp-time to the fastest recorded one...? i'm not sure, but there are some dependencies with other plugins...?
i'm working on it, maybe it will turn out positive...

thx in advance for little help! :1

I've à question : my server use only the stadium environment, but the average is calculated with all environments.

// Remove ONE comment if you run a single environment server (f.e. TMNF)
//$singleenv = "Stadium";
//$singleenv = "Island";
//$singleenv = "Bay";
//$singleenv = "Coast";
//$singleenv = "Speed";
//$singleenv = "Rally";
//$singleenv = "Alpine";

I've removed the comment ISLAND like this

// Remove ONE comment if you run a single environment server (f.e. TMNF)
//$singleenv = "Stadium";
//$singleenv = "";
//$singleenv = "Bay";
//$singleenv = "Coast";
//$singleenv = "Speed";
//$singleenv = "Rally";
//$singleenv = "Alpine";

but nothing, the average is still with 7 environments :( .Must I modifie something in my localDB ? You can see what i say in my server Le Bon Lorrain in France>Lorraine>Moselle. Thk.

The comment is the "//" at the beginning of the line, so you need to change the stadium line like this:

from

Code: Select all

//$singleenv = "Stadium";
to

Code: Select all

$singleenv = "Stadium";

Im sorry if im just dumb or something. but could i get a slightly more detailed explanation of how to install it, i have no previous experience with setting up a system on servers and the todo-list i can't understand. I've given it alot of effort but I could not figure how to set it up the right way. The Mistral Aseco 8.1 looks so damn good, so I really want it on my server.

btw. I have allready a dedicated server running on my laptop, all i need is a system like this.
cheers Lokooyv

Basically you have to get a mysql database, create a schema, create the tables (newdb script) and create a database user who can access the schema (full).

Then extract the files and configure the system:
- config.xml
- localdatabase.xml
- includes/rasp_settings.php

start it (see Aseco.sh).

Hey Mistral,
Im experimenting with your version to make it possible for players adding tracks from tmnforever.tm-exchange.com
But ingame i get the following:
[LYNX]Weerwolf is requesting read error from TMX. This will require 1 votes to pass.Type /y to vote.
Vote Passed! read error has been added to the jukebox.\
The next track will be read error as requested by [LYNX]Weerwolf.
Everything is working properly except for that. Perhaps you know where i should look for this problem. I think im overseeing it.

You should look, where you messed it up :)

Probably plugin.rasp_jukebox.php ... function chat_add

I had to borrow some stuff from XASECO to get this to work on Windows, namely the Quick Start guide (it's written for Linux, but for the most part, experienced Windows users can figure it out) and the aseco.bat to make it easier to launch.

Well its weird in the file mistralasecotodo.txt there is a chapter called; ----------------- BASIC CONFIG ----------------

Code: Select all

you can replace a running aseco/rasp/mistral environment.
this script is based on aseco 0.61b or 1.x(?) and rasp 1.2a

if you have aseco/rasp/mistral script running already ...
REPLACE ALL FILES! (except config.xml if you want)

1. add tables from aseco\db directory
- newdb	(new installation only)
- updatedb (update existing aseco/rasp/mistral-environment)
	* ignore evt. errors about
		mistral_playerwins
		teams
		mistral_billing
		rs_times
2. edit config.xml
3. edit localdatabase.xml
4. edit includes\rasp_settings.php
5. after first start you should press "clean&save"
This is what stands for so it might be a bit weird to see but that file is a install read :mrgreen: me :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
