any ideas? updated php to latest.. still getting crash when plug is enabled.
Again, look these things up in the PHP manual. mbstring is not a default extension, so you'll have to add it.

You can change lines from 14841 till 14843 from this:

Code: Select all

if (mb_substr($row['name_clean'], 0, 3) == pack("CCC", 0xef, 0xbb, 0xbf)) {
	$row['name_clean'] = mb_substr($row['name_clean'], 3);
}
to

Code: Select all

if ( (function_exists('mb_substr')) && (mb_substr($row['name_clean'], 0, 3) == pack("CCC", 0xef, 0xbb, 0xbf)) ) {
	$row['name_clean'] = mb_substr($row['name_clean'], 3);
}
But note: If you have Maps with a BOM-header in the Name, then the Maplist is´nt right sorted.

Changed the next release to the above to prevent crash.

Thanks so much for your reply. All working now :)

One last thing i cannot figure out is... i find the widget backgrounds at race too light. How can I darken them?

Heyho,

But now i have to ask where i have to change the recipient of the donations which were made on our server?
Because there were donated over 10k Planets but i cant see where they are and so...

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for the fast answer! ;)

Donations are going to the Server Account which you can check with the command /admin planets

Probably most of the Donations were made when the Transaction system was buggy so they didnt reach the Server.
this seems to be fixed now

Hm... ok.

If i type "/admin planets" the server said to me, that i havn't the required admin rights to do that! ... where could be the failure?! :/
I've still added an admin in the adminops.xml in this way:

Code: Select all

	<admins>
<!-- format:
		<tmlogin>Admin</tmlogin> <ipaddress></ipaddress>
-->
		<tmlogin>me-Shoe</tmlogin>
	</admins>
What else i have to do?

One more time a big THX for the fast answer! :)

mishu

Just curious...
I noticed that if the Server gets more crowded that the loading times for the Widgets of Eyepiece and Karma-Plugin takes a lot of time.
They slowly appear on the screen one after another.
With +60 Players almost a minute. Is there a way to tweak something apart from the nice-Mode? I saw the Eyepiece running on several crowded Server running without problems so i´m wondering. Our Root-server is powerful enough and lots of ressources left.

Thx

Both plugins running fine and fast, if you configuration is optimized.

The Karma one has very much to do for each Player, so there are the most space for optimation (<show_at_start>, <show_details>, <require_finish>, <remind_to_vote>, <score_mx_window> ...), just play around which configuration is the best for your server.

The Eyepiece running in nicemode should be fast enough already.

already applied almost all of the optimizations you mentioned this morning . Its starting with 20+ players. Score Widgets are there immideatly, but after the new map loaded it takes sometimes ages for widgets to appear.
Eyepiece is not in nice-mode with 20 players. I assume it should work fine in normal mode which it did on our other servers in TMUF

If you already has <mark_online_player_records> set to 'false', then you can force the nicemode to disable the Player marker.

The changes from TMU to TM2 was´nt much, so the TM2 port should run fast as the TMU one. You can try to disable all Widgets and turn on one after one to find out in which combination it runs fine on your server in TM2.
