I think that would be a lot of work - but if you feel up to it try looking in these files:

aseco.php, adminops.xml

Maybe others too, but aseco.php will need a lot of work I think anyway.

Hey together ... i have a short question.

Is there a command where i can add tracks from a custom folder into the tracklist without using a webinterface?

Greetings

This command only works if the tracks are in the downloaded folder. :(
Is it somehow possible to add a command where i can add all tracks from a custom folder directly into the tracklist?
The problem i have is that i have no other opportunity to handle the tracklist without shutting down the trackmania server. :(
My root server have not apache and ftp installed.
I use sftp to upload my tracks and that is the major problem ... until now i didnt found any webinterface who can handle sftp.

Hello, sorry if this is n00b-post but i have been looking everywhere and followed every tutorial and i am still not getting this to work. i clearly must have missed something ;)

I am not able to be registered as MasterAdmin on my server.

I have successfully made a dedicated-ladder server on one of my TMU-accounts and also successfully installed XAMPP and XASECO 1.14. The server is up and running and people can join, so far no problem.

In the XASECO "config.xlm" i have entered a TMU-acc as "MasterAdmin" under <tmlogin><YOUR_MASTERADMIN_LOGIN</tmlogin> and my IP under <ipaddress>YOUR_MASTERADMIN_IP</ipaddress>

On the IP-address i have tried both with and without adding the portnumber as well, still no go.

If i try to enter a admin-command in game, i just get the message that i don't have the right permission.

I have also tried to enter the same info in the "adminops.xlm" but still no go.

If it can matter i have 2 TMU accounts, i have set the server up on a laptop using on of the accounts and i want to use the 2nd account as MasterAdmin. So this is on the same internal network where only the internal IP is different.

Anybody got a clue where i have left out the correct info to get MasterAdmin-rights?

Thanks.

Have you tried leaving the ip address blank? It's not a required field, just leave the space between the tags empty and reset your server.

Yes. In the "config.xml" I have tried leaving it blank between the tags, deleting the <ipaddress> completely and with the port ":2350" included. I have reset the server everytime but still get no admin rights.

I have also tried adding it as <masteradmin> <admin> and <operator> in the "adminops.xml" but same result.

In every tut and instruction it says to specify under <masteradmins> in the "config.xml" so i'm a little lost...... ;)

Ok, working to get this resolved. Below a copy of the parts in "config.xml" i insert my own info into.

Would be great if someone could confirm that this looks "functional" and that this would be the only info needed to become MasterAdmin of the server.

And again, the server is fully functional and visible, we where 12 players on it last night as i requested them to look for it and join, the only "option" missing is that i am not able to become neither MasterAdmin, Admin or Operator.

I have tried like below and also with removing the <ipaddress> boxes completely, and also leaving them unchanged putting <tmlogin> and <ipaddress> below <masteradmins>, still no go. I have also tried adding the info nto adminops.xml, same result.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<settings>
<aseco>
<masteradmins>
<!-- /ip:port in tmlogin only needed when joining server over LAN -->
<!-- ipaddress can be specified to guard each login against -->
<!-- unauthorized use of admin commands from other IP addresses -->
<!-- format:
<tmlogin>MYLOGIN</tmlogin> <ipaddress>MYIP</ipaddress>
-->
</masteradmins>
<tmserver>
<login>SuperAdmin</login>
<password>MY_OWN_PW</password>
<ip>127.0.0.1</ip>
<port>5005</port>
<timeout>180</timeout>
</tmserver>
</settings>

OK, i got it working now and have full MasterAdmin rights on my server.

What i had to do was to remove parts of the text in "config.xml", i find it a little strange that this was not specified in any of the tutorials, but anyway; it's working now so i can enjoy playing with the server a bit :3

What i had to remove (red letters) in order to get MasterAdmin rights:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<settings>
<aseco>
<masteradmins>
-->
</masteradmins>
So what i was left with that works:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<settings>
<aseco>
<masteradmins>
<tmlogin>MYLOGIN</tmlogin> <ipaddress>MYIP</ipaddress>
</masteradmins>

Hey Xymph,

Just wanna ask you if you have any plans making XAseco PHP 5.4 compatible? :scene: :thumbsup:

You have to remove <!-- format: and -->
Like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<settings>
<aseco>
<masteradmins>
<!-- /ip:port in tmlogin only needed when joining server over LAN -->
<!-- ipaddress can be specified to guard each login against -->
<!-- unauthorized use of admin commands from other IP addresses -->
<tmlogin>MYLOGIN</tmlogin> <ipaddress>MYIP</ipaddress>
</masteradmins>
Greetings.
