This was a tricky one, and something I didn't test enough before release. It turns out unsetting and testing isset on globals within a function is not possible the way I did it. I've now changed it to empty the array and just test for that. A timing issue in clearing the cache is also fixed.

The full distribution zip is updated, but you can also just download this replacement rasp.funcs.php.

as soon as i use php5.3 xaseco always crashes with exhaust memory. when i use 5.2 i dont have this problem.

somebody any ideas?

edit: it seems it need more than 128mb memory. i disabled the memory limitation for test and its not crashing anymore^^

do anybody know how i can check how much memory a php process is using?

edit2:
found out how to check
so my xaseco need about 260mb atm 10-20 players
debian lenny 64bit php, 5.3.6,

btw Manialive with MLEPP need 400mb with 40 players

Running smoothly now on 2 servers :1
I'm using that plugin and its causing me no problems.

Edit: Sorry, my mistake. I was using the previous version, (0.3) after updating to 0.4 I got this error which is probably the same error that you got:

Code: Select all

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare chat_ignore() (previously declared in /home/xxx-ant/XAseco/plugins/plugin.custom_chat.php:18) in /home/xxx-ant/XAseco/plugins/plugin.rasp_votes.php on line 959
To get around that, you can just comment these lines in plugin.custom_chat.php:

Line 13
Lines 18 - 63

Re-start XAseco with the plugin enabled and you're done :)

No problem, in the future though if a plugin stops XAseco from loading, its always a good idea to check the logfile as it'll usually tell you whats wrong and give you an idea on the fix

Thanks for the support but let me report another malfunction I noticed as far as the musicserver plugin is concerned. I may have downloaded the song but I do not listen to it until I click on "esc" button. I tried it a couple of times to confirm and it did react the same.

Not sure what this "esc" button is. Keyboards have an Esc key, but there's no 'button' named that way in XAseco's panels. The rest of your problem description is also too vague to understand what's going on, or going wrong.

I think he means that he can't hear music on his server until he presses the Esc key - I can't see that as a major problem to be fair though.

Yup, downloaded custom stuff always only works after you escape or restart, once its downloaded.
This counts for everything (mod, music, skins)
It is the serversoftware itself that causes that.

@Xymph Yes, I mean the "esc" key on keyboard.
@Ant I'd say that it is quite annoying in rounds servers.
@Knutselmaaster I don't remember facing this kind of problem in previous xaseco versions.

Salut.
I have the same problem, not with TMX, but with remotecp4.
When I add a new map, is not displayed in the /list , but when I restart the map, the list is updated.
I replaced rasp.funcs.php, but the problem remains.
