And the same with ANSI I guess, well unless anyone else has any ideas i'm not sure how to proceed here, I can't really think of anything else right now.

I have an idea, why some Banners are not working.
in my player name i had special chars from Unicod Hebrew and my Banner i not working
Now i have deleted this chars and the my Banner worked. But my playername is now: "$z$s$w$f00$p[dutri]Düsen$fffTrieb$p" and on the Banner its look like this: "p[dutri]D*senTriebp" (* = square) and the bold-chars is not hidden!

Yeah that is strange, but I just noticed other sites are having trouble too - including even tm-ladder.com, take a look at this post

My site is currently down at the moment, so if anybody can mirror the download for the time being i'd be very grateful :)

Edit: The site's back up again, no need for this now.

Thanks DnBfreak for the below mirror :thumbsup:

Re: (X)Aseco+RASP Website Stats v3.3

Ok version 3.3 is available now - see my first post :)

I was unable to use the ARIALUNI.TTF font in the end, here's the last response I had from Ascender:
Anthony,

Thank you for the additional information. If you need to use the Arial Unicode font on your servers that are accessed by external users then you need an Application Server License.

An Application Server License allows the fonts to be installed onto a server for use with server-based applications and is accessible by an unlimited number of external users. The license fee for the Arial Unicode font licensed for internal and external server based usage is $1,000 for the first server. Each additional server is $500. The license fee is for a two year term.

If you are distributing the font with software that will be installed on your customer's server then you would need a Distribution Server License.

For a Distribution Server license you would pay a license fee for each distribution of your product containing the font. We collect a pre-payment that is applied towards future royalties. For this license we require a $2,500 advance that will be used as a credit towards future distributions. The license fee to distribute the Arial Unicode font and provide your customers with a license to use those fonts on a single server accessed by internal users would be $10 per server. The license fee to use the font on a server that is accessed by external users would be $15. The license to your customers would be a perpetual use license.

The $2,500 advance would cover you for the first 250 internally accessed server distributions or 166 externally accessed server distributions. After you have used up the advance royalty you would provide us with royalty reports on a quarterly or semi-annual basis. The per-unit royalty can be reduced by paying a higher royalty advance.

The license fees include warranty and indemnification from Ascender Corporation. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to proceed with a license. We look forward to working with you.

Best regards,

Steve Kuhlman
Ascender Corporation
This meant I also had to remove it from my site as well, cos I don't wanna be landed with a huge fine or court case against me lol.

Well... In a way... If you block it from being accessed from the outside via an htaccess line (or have it outside the public html dir, certainly possible in your setup), and only use it internally in a script which outputs to an image (which is deemed a creative ouput, certainly a legal use if you received the font legally) -- it sounds like 'fair use' to me.

Well, if I block it from being accessed from the outside, nobody will be able to see their stats which would make it sort of pointless. I'll have to just look at getting a better free font as you suggested earlier I reckon.

Long time ago i make the Stats for a friend. I see that there is a new Version 3.3. I take it and configure the config.php and put this on the Webspace.

All works

Then he told me that the serverstatsbanner works but the playerstatsbanner are empty.

OK i look and see that i must configure the tmfdatafetcher.config.php too.
I send a mail and get the Name and PW for the Nadeostatssserver.
I make a Database names "stats". Then i config the tmfdatafetcher.config.php with all Data looks like this:

Code: Select all

$fetcherSettings['stats_user']     = 'tmf-myNummer';
$fetcherSettings['stats_password'] = 'ThePWfromNadeo';
$fetcherSettings['mysql_server']   = 'localhost';
$fetcherSettings['mysql_login']    = 'Loginnameofmyroot';
$fetcherSettings['mysql_password'] = 'MyownPW';
$fetcherSettings['mysql_database'] = 'Stats';
The Database works. I see that there are 4 entrys like this:

Code: Select all

tmfdata_ladder
tmfdata_players
tmfdata_ranking
tmfdata_zones
Then i read that i must wait 24 hours. Ok i done

But after 24 Hours (today it is 3 Days) i see that the Database get now Datas from Nadeo. So the Playerbanners are emty looks like this:

I don't now what is wrong.

Is there anyone who can help me?

If you speak german it will be great. If you need some thinks you can send me a PM.

Thks all

That is strange, what setting have you got under this ?

Code: Select all

//fetch method settings
//0..Autodetect best method
//1..Force script to use cURL
//2..Force script to use fopen/file_get_contents
Have you tried changing this ?

If its on 0, try 1 or 2 to force a different method - maybe that will help.
Also, what php version are you using ? And just to check, is the GD library installed?

Hello

The php-version is 5.2.5
The mysqlversion is 5.0.51a

fopen are enable

php_gd2.dll extension is enable

I setup yesterday 3 Testservers with three seperate Folders on the Webspace. And there i have three different options 0,1 and 2

On the first call of the php-script on the Webstats there will be create the 4 Rows in all three Databases. But all this are emty. After 24 Hours (today) they are all emty too.

Is it possible that i can check the Database access to the NadeoPubliserver? I think that i get there not the right Name and PW.

Your php version should be fine, as mine is working with 5.2.16

Also, to test your login and pass for the Nadeo Stats Server, you can try these URLs

https://stats.trackmaniaforever.com/
or
https://login:pass@stats.trackmaniaforever.com/

The first URL will give you a prompt for the login and password, in the second you need to change login:pass to match yours.
