XAseco problem

Post by Oven Apple » 05 Feb 2010 16:21

Hi,

Now i got XAseco Dedimania records work, almost :shock:

The Records will work, if XAseco run! XAseco says that C:/User/Documents/TrackMania/xaseco_110/xaseco/plugin/plugin.dedimania.php/ File wont work cuz "line 177" has error. The server login changed, but the dedimania.plugin file's line 177 has got wrong login. I searched my line 177, and theres not login. Can you guys help? Sorry my bad English, if you see some it. (im not sure :D )

You'll have to change the dedimania.xml file which you can find in the xaseco root.
You'll find something like this:

Code: Select all

<login>3dcustomsrv</login>
this has to be:

Code: Select all

<login>3dnadsrv</login>
I don't know if your passwords are identical, otherwise you'll also have to change the <password> part.

*bashes head into wall*

Really.. sometimes I wonder how you guys can get a server running to begin with..

Open up the dedimania.xml file... insert your server's login, and then use it's community code as the password.

It stands in the log: Dedimania misconfigured!

As suggested before, the same info that is written in the Dedicated-config-file should be in the dedimania.xml.

Code: Select all

	<masterserver_account>
		<login></login>
		<password></password>
		<nation>THREE_LETTER_NATION_CODE</nation>
	</masterserver_account>

Well, I guess it just happens to work for thousands of other server operators, who can understand the setup instructions. Perhaps there's just some preternatural force/spirit that's keeping you from being able to use dedimania -- always a possibility I suppose...
