Starting Xaseco from a PHP webpage

Post by Mat-d-Rat » 31 Aug 2008 22:00

Hi all

I'm putting together a small php script which will allow me to start/stop TMFU server and xaseco (and view logs). All the server stuff is working, but I can not get xaseco to start! I use

Code: Select all

exec('sh Aseco.sh',$output,$result);
which has the following :-

Code: Select all

cd /asecofolder
php aseco.php TMN </dev/null >aseco.log 2>&1 &
but all that happens is I get a copy of the webpage in the aseco.log and nothing works. I've tried a direct call on php aseco.php and nothing works. But if I navigate to the php script in a browser, it runs as expected, and runs from root command prompt (as root, but as it works from browser, everything is running as domain) - This is on a CENTOS 5 unix box...

Any ideas?
