a few ramblings

/tlist for listign tracks from tmx.. like aseco2 does
/admin remove song to remove songs from music list(i let a few poeopel add music and well some make my dog howl)

yes/no poll ie
/poll should we let xymph join tet19 y/n
/poll do you like the new dedimania widget

would be nice to restrict polls to admins or public

/admin turbo (make cow drive faster)
join me at the music tower

Repeat request, already on my to-do list.
cow wrote:/admin remove song to remove songs from music list(i let a few poeopel add music and well some make my dog howl)
Music list additions and removals have to be done via editing the musicserver.xml list and reloading it. I don't see how you could have let people add songs any other way than the XML file in the first place.

Hmm... dunno about that, this a racing server controller, not a website or a forum, after all. And with all the Nadeo and XAseco panels and, optionally, Fufi's widgets, the HUD is pretty crowded already.
cow wrote:/admin turbo (make cow drive faster)
Sure, that's now #1 on my to-do list.

Not!

i dont want the ability to add songs.. just remove them.. as some peopel have added crappy songs.. and yeah i could do that in the xml file by hand.. in a pre 1990's way but i'd rather have you do it.. :P

as for the polls i was thinkign more like when people login a server message says there is a poll
they type /poll to see the question and then /poll y /poll n to vote

Better: /poll Does the new dedimania widget depress you?

I'd say yes, ever since I have it showing on my testserver, it f*cking laughs at me and always puts me last on the list just to make me feel bad^^
My only chance to get a ranked record is to add new tracks ;-)
inactive, sorry

They cannot have added songs other than by editing the XML file. Don't let them, problem solved. :P
The music server plugin isn't intended to do everything that the jukebox, /add and related /admin commands can do for tracks, it's just a simple way to play custom songs, but I have no desire to add full facilities to manage the song files themselves.

autokick based in number of seconds idle, instead of maps. this was a feature on old fufitools for TMN and its quite useful in Rounds mode.

You want to know where there is a public server full of music that you can use as your music server?

Answer: There isn't one.

Nick.

It isn't, sorry. The bandwidth costs for the person hosting the server would be horrific.

Nick.
