It's always worth it, just to be able to tell whether you've got the latest release. I'm calling this v0.51. :P
Nah, I'll just pretend those bugs never existed, repression is the key^^

Okay, I'm just not able to figure out that mysql error. If someone could help me here I'd really appreciate it =)

I tried everything, the unfixed Aseco 2, the fixed one, the public database, the newest mysql and php versions and my Aseco log is still bug free. What is it you guys do different than me ;-)

I also got a message to all of you who wanted a public database widget. I'm sorry, that's most likely not gonna happen for one simple reason, there's no way for me to determine what record is local and what public since Aseco merges them together internally (which I just found out). So if you activate the public database and run the Local Records widget, you already see both types (local and public) in there.

The thing is, I added a dependency to "RaspKarma" and "LocalDB" so Aseco shouldn't even start if those were not in the plugin list if the KarmaWidget wasn't enabled.

Adding new widgets will probably happen when the existing widgets work reliably^^ But the next thing to do with the widgets is to port them to XASECO (I hope it'll work ;-) )

Why is your aseco 2.0 inside a folder named xaseco? ^^ Nevermind. Does this issue only happen when the fufi widgets plugin is enabled?

Well this is beyond me hehe, I did a quick test on one of the querys in question:

Query in plugin.rasp_karma.php and plugin.fufi.widgets.php

Code: Select all

$query = 'Select goodkarma from challenges WHERE Id=' . $challenge->data['DB_ID'];
print $query;

Query printout in plugin.rasp_karma.php

Code: Select all

Select goodkarma from challenges WHERE Id=49
Query printout in plugin.fufi.widgets.php

Code: Select all

Select goodkarma from challenges WHERE Id=
For some reason the value in $challenge->data['DB_ID'] is not being passed to the query, I also tried $this->Aseco->server->challenge->data['DB_ID']; but didn't work either.

Don't know if this helps, but I post just in case. :D

Actually that one helps a lot =) Unfortunately I probably wont have the time to look into this in the next days because I'm not at home for a week from tomorrow on, I'll see if I can manage to fix some stuff. Another thing: does the karma widget NEVER work for you, or just sometimes?

Ah f*ck it... I just coded a fix to the problem without actually having the problem or knowing where it came from, thanks to daemon for the very useful information. I don't know if it works now, but it should ;-) Please try it out and let me know.

Download link as always in the first post.
Btw. there's one error source I could imagine. If plugin.fufi.widgets.php would stand before plugin.rasp.php inside the plugins.xml, that error could show up, but anyways, it should work now with version 0.51.

Gotta sleep now,
Fish

Ok this is gonna be hard lol, I've seen this with more detail.

There are 3 times when the warnings show(that I've seen); when a track loads, when a player joins, and when someone presses the karma buttons, or uses the commands /++ /--. With /karma command all is ok.

Now...

- When a track loads: behavior described in previous post, value doesn't show when printing queries. (Select goodkarma from challenges WHERE Id=)

- When a player joins, or presses buttons: Same behavior, but I "fixed" it by changing $challenge->data['DB_ID'] to $this->Aseco->server->challenge->data['DB_ID'] in the queries. Now for some reason the value is printed in the queries (Select goodkarma from challenges WHERE Id=49), but only for these 2 cases.

With this change, players join and press buttons, and warnings don't show anymore, but still do show when changing tracks.

EDIT

Gonna try new version and report, thanks =)

Oh how dumb I am hehe, when I read the install instructions and it said, place the plugin at the very end, I placed it at the very end of the standard plugins, but before the rasp plugins  . Now I placed it at the very bottom, with v0.5 and it resolved the issue.

Then I tested with v0.51, and also solved the problem, but now when someone clicks on the karma buttons, the cups don't update like before.

Also I have a weird thing, I had +3 -1 votes, and when I changed my vote to "+", the votes changed to +2 0
Image

But this also happens with the commands /++ /--, so this is my issue or rasp_karma issue hehe.

Another example:

+1 0, vote -
+1 1, vote +
+2 -2

:ftw:

it was easier to change what was inside the folder than all paths to said folder
f*ckfish wrote: Does this issue only happen when the fufi widgets plugin is enabled?
yes only with the widgets enabled

But I will download the latest release and give it a go again..

thanks
