Re: LAN-friendly version of XAseco

I don't know if this is still the case or applies to you situation, but if you play online and then join a LAN game without quitting the game, your login in LAN mode will be the nickname you use online (or the other way round, its your nickname first and after you played online its your login). Afai...

Re: Dedicated server for TMF, version 2008-10-07

Very nice, thanks xbx! :-D Will update now, let's hope everything works flawlessly again :) Referee: when a player disconnected after making a new score, the score wasn't validated and wasn't reset and the server blocked in the podium. (added a timeout on the server, and fixed the client - check the...

Re: TMN "Lag"

First you should check your connection settings in the Launcher. Just click settings and make sure the values match your connection. They are set in kilo bits per second. If you set this too low, you won't get enough packets and other cars will jump around. If you set it higher than your actual conn...

Re: Referee Questions (solved)

I'm using the commandline referee too, with the exact commandline from above... The game hung again right now, and when I checked the referee, I saw that the program crashed this time: --------------------------- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library --------------------------- Runtime Error! Program...

Re: Referee Questions (solved)

I also have a question about referees... This seems to work quite well now, but sometimes it happens that it won't go to the next track. At the end of the race, the chat time counts down, but then nothing happens. As soon as I quit the referee client, it will load the next map. It seems that this ha...

Re: the big dedicated server crash identification topic

Because thats wat it is like here. First one is stadium server. Crashed once so far (posted above),...

Re: TMU(F) 2 IP's on 1 client causes server to disconnect client

1. You should not use DHCP for the nic that is in your private network, because that way it gets a gateway ip assigned, just as the other nic that you use for direct net. Just assign an IP adress for you LAN manually and leave the default gateway blank. 2. If you do not want to change that, at least...

Re: the big dedicated server crash identification topic

Because JUST now that I said how my stadium server was running flawlessly for 5 days... it crashed, of course  We will see. About grsec, I'm not really willing to reboot the machin...

Re: the big dedicated server crash identification topic

and of course I'm always interrested in * "LogCrash_xxxxx.txt" files in windows (that get produced only when there a crash) * core dumps in linux --> just do a 'ulimit -c unlimited' before running the server. So are the 04-18 executables already the debug ones? Cause before there were always specia...
