Re: Das überfunc

It turns out there was one track with a very devious name on my server (curse you 'nap303_') that passed through the stripColors function, and when displayed (e.g. in a /list command) caused the SendDisplayServerMessageToLogin server call to fail and not display the next page. This prevented ...

Re: Updated /nextmap for Aseco/RASP v0.7

You know i do like those mods to fix the small glitches in rasp 0.7, but not having much luck with this mod, it seems to be installed fine, and the message line has been put in config.xml , but output when doing a /nextmap is empty, it just echo's an empty line? There's your problem, the message li...

Interesting alternative approach. But your code would be more readable (and copy-able) if you'd change the quote tags to code tags.

Updated /nextmap for Aseco/RASP v0.7

The /nextmap command in Aseco v0.61 / RASP 1.5 (== Aseco 0.7) for TMN/TMO/TMS has two bugs when the jukebox is empty: it doesn't work for servers with more than 300 tracks when the current track is somewhere beyond the first 300, and it fails when the current track happens to be the very last one in...

You don't have to anymore, I created that feature a while ago and just posted it up here. 8)

Universal help function for Aseco v0.61b

The showHelp function in Aseco v0.61b for TMN/TMO/TMS (in includes/basic.inc.php) is a bit primitive: whether you get a pop-up with full descriptions or just a simple commands list in the chat depends on the number of available commands. If it's 18 or less you get a pop-up, otherwise the chat line. ...

Re: Das überfunc

Therefore, as long as it satisfies your own tests, I strongly recommend including this version of the function in the next general release of Aseco, unless a better solution is yet devised. Considering the age of this thread, this does indeed appear to be the be-all-end-all of code stripping. :) Gr...

Re: Aseco 0.61b/RASP 0.7 mods

cow proposed an idea or two about functionality changes to /admin restartmap and the /jukebox: // My Mod changes the "restartmap" functionality. // it requires the RASP Jukebox function to be installed and configured! // Instead of instantly restarting the map, it creates a jukebox entry for the cu...

Re: [Aseco Plugin Request] '/list unranked'

I forgot to mention one sidenote: for unfathomable reasons  the rs_times table in RASP has a column called trackID while it's challengeID throughout the rest of the Aseco database, so I changed that on my server for consistency. In the above code segments you'd have to revert any references to...

Re: [Aseco Plugin Request] '/list unranked'

As long as you don't get 20+ players trying /list norank at the same time then that should work just fine. :1010 Exactly, and what are the chances on that on most servers? :) Btw, I did try a more efficient query that foregoes the need for that inner brute force loop, but unfortunately even the (ne...

Re: [Aseco Plugin Request] '/list unranked'

I created this '/list norank' feature (and also a 'nogold' one) on my server. Unfortunately norank couldn't be done with just one SQL query and required some brute force processing, but it works fine and doesn't bog down the server or anything like that. The nogold feature however is done with a sin...

Re: TMN on linux "autostart"

I am running Centos 4.x, i.e. a RedHat-based distro, and have my TMN server running under a user called 'tmn' with group 'tm'. Here are my init.d scripts for starting/stopping the TMN dedicated server and the Aseco/Rasp system. /etc/init.d/tmnd: #!/bin/sh # # Starts TMN script # # chkconfig: 345 94 ...
