Re: Trackmania2 Beta???

If Nadeo is bankrupt, the TMUF, TMN, TMO, ... central servers will be shutdown and you will stay with the offline solo only...not better

TM2 pre-paid : Risk capital with good return investment (i hope...this is the risk  )

Re: Trackmania2 Beta???

I can only think of disadvantages for a paid alpha (although it depends on how big it is as well). Maybe that was a mistranslation? ^^ No mistranslation  Hylis said a Beta is a version already containing every feature, and only tested for bugs reports, ... with no more modification to the bas...

Re: Check of player reality

It still depend what you call a real player: - A player that has a defined skill level: Online: play with them on a server... it's the best way to be sure to have the real player front of you (there are still exceptions...but against that, except playing physically on the same location or with a web...

Re: Check of player reality

When i delete score.gbx - my stats reset. I think this means that stats are present in the file. No, the stats are 'real time' calculation based on the scores.gbx. The score.gbx, for each map contain: - The UID of the map - Time play online - Time play offline - Time in editor - Number of attempts ...

Re: Check of player reality

What do you call a 'reality' player? A player with a profile? : it's needed to make a replay  But is an offline profile consired as a real player? Do you want to limit to online profile (the login they registred in the nadeo server)? A player that has already played serveral hours (that you ta...

Re: Map-hexing.

And if I read those posts right, the tools seem quite limited in their scope (apparently can only edit a map under 500 coppers?) Compression algorythm on old versions of recompress-tmf was not totaly correct, there was some bugs with big files (in some situation, depend which 'branch' of the algory...

Re: How hackable is TMUF?

Keygen is not enough... The central database only contain keys that has been "sold" and keys can only be activated once. So, to be able to connect online, you would need a key that: - is accepted by the algorythm (the easiest part  ) - is valid in the central database (print in a box, prepared...

Re: How do I get a new serial number..........

If you simply want to install TMU to be able to upgrade to TMUF, simply install TMU, don't launch it (so no activation required), then launch the TMU => TMUF update. You will not be able to play TMU, but TMUF will work without any starforce activation (only with your online key)

Re: Setting Official times on old Nadeo tracks (Q)

Don't know if it will work, but if the map doesn't have a password, if you load it in TMU editor and save it (without changing anything), the map will be saved in TMU format (but map, author, ... will stay the same). It will then perhaps be accepted? If other players have put a official time on it, ...

Re: Trackmania Original 1.5.2 help help!! ±Ðþ

Where did you get 1.5.2??? TM Original is still 1.5.0 for what i know (that's why update button don't find another version) 1.5.2 is perhaps a no-cd unofficial vista version (like 2.10 for TMU). So it does not add anything to the game (blocks, ...) For the CD versions, Starforce need to find the CD ...

Re: How to Change the CD KEY?

You will not be able to modify the CD-Key because it's encrypt in your profile.

- you need to delete your profile.gbx and score.gbx
- then relaunch the game, it will ask again the CD-key, enter the new one, and create a new profile (with the legal key)

Re: uploading tracks from game ???

The track is containe in your profile file ([pseudo].profile.gbx)... so not replacable (except if you uncompress the profile file, modify the track part and recompress the file (compression is not a zip or rar  ))

Re: Re:

You can save the track outside of the slot, so you can put it on a server, .... And then upload it only when it is the final release of the track. Woah woah... how do you do that? This may solve my problem! Not sure you understand what i was talking (i'm not talking to put a track in a slot, but ex...
