Re: how to update XAMPP and not lose records?

Though I have my own reservations about xampp (sloppy installation/uninstallation/upgrade methods, which can often break a windows install), you shouldn't have much of a problem with upgrading -- your db files should remain intact... If you are considering switching over to a full manialive setup us...

Re: (X)Aseco+RASP Website Stats v3.5

..when my main server goes down Hey, it happens! :roflol: The LR network should prove a bit more solid atm, though am looking into hosting at one of several other locations.. anyways, I prefer one main http download, supplemented with typical filesharing sites for mirrors. I love http://www.multiup...

Re: Can smoebody make an other jukebox?

Being that it is an unofficial alteration of the original jukebox plugin, as long as the necessary RASP functions remain intact in the the xaseco core and the plugin format hasn't changed (since... guessing v1.10?); then it should work without a problem. Albeit, as this is a replacement for the orig...

Re: I'm looking for plugin to delete records

Personally, I use the database plugin included with RemoteCP, at least if I'm feeling too lazy to just go into a mysql console and type 'delete from players where login=..'. It'd be very easy to handle with a small plugin, but then there's the thought of whether or not to force xaseco to then crawl ...

Re: [TMNF] Problem with server/port forwarding

Just to rule out Freezone completely, try making your server hidden (in config) and have your friends join it via the tmtp link. As far as LAN goes, they should see the server listed under 'Party Play' from the main menu (whether it is setup as a LAN or online server), as long as the server port is ...

Re: Comparison

Personally I've never used RCP Live.. The concept of it is pretty interesting, though anymore development is lacking and it's setup can be a bit temperamental (have known several op's that tried using it, and ultimately gave up). You could take a look at what servers are running it, and decide if it...

Re: drive for trackmania (to read and reread )

First of all, this really has nothing to do with TM -- more of the fault of gerymania. There's plenty of reasons there's no stunts support in Dedimania, and gery doesn't exactly offer a well constructed alternative. Though with the format of stunts mode, I don't really understand what cheat checks c...

Re: (X)Aseco+RASP Website Stats v3.4

Unfortunately, most users do indeed use IE.. but IE6 is the only real concern, and it's usage is decreasing as win xp enjoys it's slow death.

Re: Comparison

Well... by posting in a controller's subforum, you're not really going to find too much of an unbiased opinion. There really isn't any comparison for controllers -- each has different features, intended for certain situations/audiences. By far, most prefer Xaseco. Based on the structure of Aseco v0....

Re: Odd Xaseco problem

I'd check your php config to make sure the error reporting bits are set up properly. As long as error reporting is enabled, you should see any error causing the script to shutdown (unless something on your setup is sending a command to 'kill' it).

Re: Server Problems - check your matchsetting

Ok I tried setting the permissions to everyone has full access - no change. Seeing as it appears you are on Windows, file permissions should not be an issue at all (at least outside directories Windows manages). Provided you use the proper command with the proper paths, it will run. I suppose there...

Are you running from a command prompt or a batch file? Should try running the full command from the run dialog.

Re: [XASECO] Plugin: Nickname Sync 1.1

Though I don't really see the point, personally... I think you could accomplish this better with a standalone script (run perhaps weekly by cronjob) that reads from your players table line by line, and uses the tmf data fetcher class to sync with the TMF ladder.
